Green in Every Color
Sunbrella's commitment to eco-friendly products means canvas as responsible as it is beautiful.
If your Sea Ray features Sunbrella® canvas, you’re already familiar with the fabric’s superior quality. Manufactured for excellent durability, breathability, fade resistance and ease of maintenance, Sunbrella canvas is with you and your boat for the long haul.
But did you know the company is also dedicated to environmentally friendly practices? Sunbrella has recycled its industrial waste for over 30 years; all five of the company’s U.S. manufacturing facilities send zero waste to landfills. In addition, Sunbrella fabrics are certified by GREENGUARD as contributing to healthy indoor air quality by being a very low emitting interior product, earning them GREENGUARD GOLD Certification. Sunbrella also manufactures the Renaissance line of fabrics, which are made with 50% recycled Sunbrella fiber.
And when the time comes to update your canvas, the “Recycle My Sunbrella” take-back program provides a green alternative to disposal. Since the program’s inception in 2010, businesses, boaters and homeowners have recycled more than 125,000 pounds of fabric that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill. Instead, the recovered material waste gets a second life.
