Make a Date with Miami

February heats up with dramatic appearances at the Miami International Boat Show.

Visitors to last year’s Miami International Boat Show witnessed the debut of the L-Class and its flagship, the L650 Fly. In the 12 short months since, Sea Ray has not only sent the Fly on an unprecedented Coastal Tour, but also introduced sister models to round out the fleet. Miami 2015 will mark the first time the complete L-Class lineup appears together in one place, headlining a spectacular on-water display on Collins Avenue at Ramp 37. Alongside the L-Class yachts, an array of beautiful new Sea Ray and Meridian Yachts models will also be available to explore, including the sophisticated new 470 Sundancer and the bold 510 Fly. You think you’ve seen luxury—now see it as never before.

But one venue simply isn’t enough space to do the full Sea Ray lineup justice. Swing over to the Miami Beach Convention Center, Booth B36, to check out more than a dozen new models including the innovative 270 Sundeck Outboard and the brand-new 290 Sundeck; the accessible, sporty new 21 SPX Outboard and a 19 SPX in full trailering mode, hitched to a beautiful GMC Acadia. A team of knowledgeable Sea Ray representatives will be on hand to answer any questions.

Of course Miami is more than a boat show, it’s an experience. Set in the glamorous environs of South Beach, there’s plenty to do and see outside show hours, from designer shopping on Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive to steamy nightclubs on Collins Ave. The Miami Beach Boardwalk runs four miles along the Atlantic, offering a scenic place to stretch your legs. And when you’ve worked up an appetite, world-class dining options abound; whether you favor steak, seafood or organic greens, you’ll find a Zagat-rated spot within a few blocks. Then again, sometimes a simple iced coffee really hits the spot—and goes down quick, so you can get right back to studying that new Sea Ray that caught your eye.

The 2015 Miami International Boat Show takes place from February 12 to 16. GMC will provide courtesy shuttles between the Miami Beach Convention Center and Collins Avenue.
