The wake behind a Sea Ray 230 SLX creates the perfect playground for a Hyperlite State 2.0 wakeboard.
When two of the world’s best-performing watersports products team up, the only possible result is big-time action. Which is exactly what happened in late August when Sea Ray partnered with Hyperlite wakeboards to capture stunning photos off the coast of Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
Pulled behind a beautiful Sea Ray 230 SLX, the Hyperlite State 2.0 wakeboard effortlessly carved through the blue Atlantic waters. The SLX’s powerful Mercury MerCruiser engine created the perfect conditions for thrilling speed and major photo opps.
The key to nailing the perfect freeze frame behind the brawn and precision of the SLX was in the shape and make of the State 2.0. Hyperlite’s innovative design starts with a Bio Core, the industry’s gold standard for traditional wakeboard construction. This lightweight material achieves the ideal balance between durability, weight and response for optimal carving and boosting big airs.
The shape of State 2.0 offers riders comfortable toe-side edging, helping you take your skills to the next level. Its asymmetrical design has a shorter toe-side edge to make those difficult jumps easier, and the thinner profile reduces drag for bolstered pop off the top of the wake.
With the sleek lines of the SLX complementing the State 2.0’s precision maneuvering, Sea Ray’s photographers snapped some incredible shots, proving that an ideal match creates unrivaled synergy—not to mention serious airtime.
Stay tuned for future LaunchPad stories featuring the incredible photos captured in the Keys.
